From November 21 to 23, Viessmann Climate Solutions will be presenting innovative system solutions for electricity and heat supply at GET Nord in Hamburg under the motto: “Fully connected: electricity and heating in a system”. Visitors can find out more about the integrated energy systems in exhibition hall A4, booth 110.
Hamburg, Nov. 18, 2024 – Between November 21 and 23, 2024, Viessmann Climate Solutions will be presenting innovative system solutions for electricity and heat supply at the GET Nord in Hamburg. Under the motto: “Fully connected: Electricity and heat in a system”, visitors will experience the simple planning, installation and integration of the integrated energy systems from Viessmann Climate Solutions in exhibition hall A4, booth 110. Because independence from the public power supply is becoming increasingly important for homeowners, different possible combinations of heat pumps with PV systems, electricity storage and charging stations for electric vehicles will be presented. In addition, options will be presented on how to relieve the load on grids during peak load times. Vitocharge VX3: New generation storage system can now be cascaded
At the heart of the smart energy systems for heat, electricity and electromobility is the new generation of the modular hybrid energy storage system Vitocharge VX3. From now on, up to three Vitocharge VX3s can be connected in cascade. As each cylinder can accommodate up to three battery units with a storage capacity of 5 kWh each, a total capacity of up to 45 kWh can be provided. The inverter is available in three power classes, both 1-phase and 3-phase, to enable the Vitocharge VX3 to be optimally adapted to photovoltaic systems up to 12 kWp.
Vitovolt 300-DG: New photovoltaic double glass modules with bifacial TOPCon cell technology
In Germany, Viessmann Climate Solutions has been awarded with the EUPD Top Brand PV seal for its PV modules and inverters. It was awarded on the basis of positive feedback from market partners in terms of brand awareness, distribution and recommendation. It is fitting that the company has launched innovative PV modules onto the market this year with the Vitovolt 300-DG. The new premium PV modules are designed as double glass modules with bifacial N-type TOPCon cell technology and achieve outputs of up to 445 Wp. Viessmann also offers a performance guarantee of up to 30 years and a product guarantee of up to 25 years.
Vitocal 250-A: Stiftung Warentest's winning heat pump is extended by new output sizes
With the Vitocal 250-A modernization heat pump (type: AWO-E-AC 251.A10, nominal heat output 2.6 to 9.7 kW at A-7/W35 according to EN 14511), Viessmann was the test winner in a comparative test by Stiftung Warentest in October 2023. With an overall quality rating of 2.1, this heat pump also remained in a top position in the subsequent test in August 2024. This year, additional output sizes (16 and 18.5 kW) are expanding the range of applications for the Vitocal 250-A and 252-A heat pumps for buildings with higher heating loads.
Vitocal 250-AH: Perfectly suited for modernization
The Vitocal 250-AH version is particularly suitable for adding to an existing heating system. With a flow temperature of up to 70 °C, the Vitocal 250-AH has been specially developed for modernization. This is because the heat pump provides the base load. The boiler is only switched on at particularly low temperatures. This hybrid solution is therefore more reliable, compact and environmentally friendly than ever before.
Vitocal 250-A PRO: Air-to-water heat pumps for commercial use honored with the iF Gold Design Award 2024
The compact monobloc heat pump for larger residential and commercial buildings as well as commercial enterprises heats, cools and produces hot water with flow temperatures of up to 70 °C. It has now been awarded with the iF Gold Design Award 2024 for its outstanding design.
Charging Station: Charging electric vehicles easily, safely and efficiently
With the new Charging Station, combined with a Vitovolt photovoltaic system and the Vitocharge VX3 storage cylinder, Viessmann is offering an intelligent way of integrating e-mobility into electricity-based energy systems for the first time. This complete solution makes it possible to charge electric vehicles intelligently, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Viessmann Energy Management: Efficient use of energy
Viessmann Energy Management is fully integrated into the new generation of the energy storage system and the new Vitocal heat pumps. It is designed for maximum use of self-generated electricity and optimizes the interaction of the photovoltaic system and Vitocharge VX3 electricity storage unit with the heat pump and the new Viessmann charging station for electric vehicles. This reduces energy costs and protects the climate in the best possible way. The ViCare App displays the energy flows in the house in real time on the smartphone or tablet.
Transport and installation assistance: Innovation now makes it easier to handle outdoor heat pump units
There is now a useful device to make it easier to transport and install the outdoor units, which often weigh more than 200 kilograms. The new and innovative transport and installation assistance supports the trade partners in picking up the outdoor unit from the transport pallet and setting it down on a floor console at the final location. Usually, one to a maximum of two people are all that is needed. The transport and installation assistance is suitable for all outdoor units of the new Vitocal heat pump generation with the refrigerants R290 and R32, i.e. suitable for Vitocal 250-A and 252-A, Vitocal 250-AH, Vitocal 250-SH, Vitocal 150-A and 151-A, Vitocal 200-S and 222-S as well as for Viessmann Invisible.
