Between February 8 and 16, 2025, Viessmann Climate Slutions will be presenting innovative system solutions that comply with the current Building Energy Act at “HANDWERK live” in Leipzig. In hall 5, booth no. D14, interested parties can find out about (hybrid) system solutions with renewable energies.
Leipzig/Allendorf (Eder), Germany, Feb. 10, 2025 – Between February 8 and 16, 2025, the “mitteldeutsche handwerksmesse” will continue its long tradition under the new trade fair name “HANDWERK live” and present the innovations of the trade in Leipzig. Viessmann Climate Solutions, as part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, will be presenting innovative system solutions that comply with the current Building Energy Act. The perfect choice for modernization: Vitocal 252-A
Reliable, compact and more environmentally friendly than ever before - with the new, innovative heat pump technology from Viessmann, environmental heat can be used particularly efficiently for heating and cooling. With a flow temperature of up to 70 °C and output sizes from 2.6 to 13.4 kW, the Vitocal 252-A air/water heat pump has been specially developed for modernization. Existing radiators can continue to be used and the indoor unit can even be split if space is particularly limited. An underfloor heating system is not absolutely necessary. Impressive features include high energy efficiency, convenient app operation, sustainable operation and an attractive design.
Use the heat from room air, outside air or extract air to heat domestic hot water in a cost-effective and energy-saving way: Vitocal 262-A
The Vitocal 262-A domestic hot water (DHW) heat pump is an ideal addition to an existing heating system. It can be installed in place of a conventional DHW cylinder. The Vitocal 262-A takes care of DHW heating in a cost-effective and energy-saving manner. To do this, the universal appliance extracts heat from the outside air as well as from recirculated and extract air in rooms. Typical installation locations are boiler rooms or technical rooms where a lot of heat is regularly generated. Self-generated electricity from a PV system can be used for efficient operation.
Viessmann Vitocharge VX3: New generation storage cylinder can now be cascaded
The heart of the smart energy systems for heat, electricity and electromobility is the new generation of the modular Vitocharge VX3 hybrid storage cylinder. Up to three Vitocharge VX3s can now be connected in cascade. Each storage unit can hold up to three battery units with a storage capacity of 5 kWh each, meaning that a total capacity of up to 45 kWh can be provided. The inverter is available in three power classes, both 1-phase and 3-phase, to enable the Vitocharge VX3 to be optimally adapted to photovoltaic systems up to 12 kWp.
Fit for modernization: Viessmann Vitocal 250-AH
The Vitocal 250-AH version is particularly suitable for supplementing an existing heating system. With a flow temperature of up to 70 °C, the Vitocal 250-AH has been specially developed for modernization. This is because the heat pump provides the base load. The boiler is only switched on at particularly low temperatures. This hybrid solution is therefore more reliable, compact and environmentally friendly than ever before.
Domestic hot water cylinder for high convenience: Vitocell 100-V
The Vitocell 100-V has a corrosion-protected steel cylinder with Ceraprotect enamel coating. Thanks to its highly effective all-round thermal insulation, it impresses with low heat loss. In the CVAB-A model with a capacity of 160/200 liters, a so-called vacuum thermal insulation ensures this protective effect.
Fast and even heating via large heating coils ensures a high level of DHW convenience at all times. For larger DHW requirements, several Vitocell 100-V type CVA/CVAA/CVAB-A cylinders can be combined via manifolds to form cylinder batteries.
Storage cylinder for domestic hot water storage: Vitocell 100-E
The Vitocell 100-E heating water buffer cylinder is available with different cylinder capacities. The Vitocell 100-E type SVPB with a cylinder capacity of up to 2,000 liters is ideal for high heating requirements. To increase the volume of heat pump heating systems, the SVP/SVPA type with only 46 liters is ideal for wall mounting.
Viessmann Energy Management: Use energy efficiently
Viessmann Energy Management is fully integrated into the new generation of the storage cylinder and the new Vitocal heat pumps. It is designed for maximum use of self-generated electricity and optimizes the interaction between the photovoltaic system and Vitocharge VX3 storage cylinder with the heat pump and the new Viessmann Charging Station for electric vehicles. This reduces energy costs and protects the climate in the best possible way. The ViCare app on the smartphone or tablet shows the energy flows in the house in real time. All this is made possible by Viessmann One Base. The new platform connects devices and electronic applications to create a single climate and energy solution for the home. Users consume less energy, reduce their carbon footprint and keep track of costs at all times.
