Allendorf (Eder). 18.10.2024 – Germany is on the verge of a heating revolution: around ten million heat generators in German homes will soon need to be replaced. After all, the building sector is responsible for well over a third of CO₂ emissions in Germany, making it the biggest lever for the successful implementation of the energy transition. Intelligent and efficient solutions are therefore more than ever the order of the day. In particular, heat pumps are the key technology for a successful energy transition and thus the future for the German heating market. This is because heat pumps offer homeowners smart systems for efficient heating, long-term savings and thus also a reduction in their own CO₂ emissions. Viessmann Climate Solutions is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the world's leading provider of intelligent energy solutions.

Viessmann offers customized, smart, and digitally connected heating solutions as a competent partner for a successful heating transition. With this in mind, Viessmann is now looking for the oldest heating boilers in Germany: until November 15, 2024, owners of an old oil or gas heating system from Viessmann can upload a picture of the nameplate of their heating boiler to the campaign website viessmann.de/legende. Participants will then have the chance to win a smart heat pump system from Viessmann, including installation by a local tradesperson. FC Bayern Munich, with brand ambassador Giovane Élber, is one of the partners of the Viessmann campaign.
“Heating is like sports: the best results can only be achieved together – with the right technology, a clever strategy, and strong teammates,” says Giovane Élber. ”That's why I, along with FC Bayern Munich, support Viessmann's commitment to a heating transition in Germany. It's time to join forces and take the offensive for better heating.”
