This includes the Vitovolt 300 product range, which is now being supplemented with the innovative Vitovolt 300-DG module.
Innovative cell technology ensures greater efficiency
The new PV module comes in a double-glass design with bifacial N-type TOPCon cell technology. It can use sunlight from both sides to generate power. This means that installation is not limited to house roofs; it can also be fitted to terraces, carports or conservatories, for example.
In addition, the crystalline N-type TOPCon cell core converts a large amount of direct sunlight into electricity. TOPCon stands for “Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact”. The cell technology is based on an ultra-thin oxide layer (tunnel oxide) combined with a thin layer of silicone, which increases the cells’ efficiency.
Greater resilience and durability
The Vitovolt 300-DG is particularly resistant to high temperatures. This property ensures greater durability while also increasing the module’s efficiency compared to typically used P-type cell technology.
